Ceramics Residency

Every year we invite ceramic artists to live and work in Salemi — a hilltop town in Western Sicily that we are helping revive through contemporary ceramics. Residents get studio space in our former-monastery studios, materials and firings, and time: to research, to experiment, and to make a body of work shaped by the town, its history and its landscape.

The residency is part of Our Project — residents become part of the studio's daily life, alongside our courses, teachers and the local community.
